Mika Singh asks Film body FWICE to let state his case over ban for performing in Pakistan, here's his letter

Mika Singh has written a letter to the Federation of Western India Cine Employees following his ban by the film body. In a one-page document addressed to the President, B.N Tiwari, Singh sought approval to put forward 'half' his story. He also informed that he would be shortly holding a press conference to speak about the matter. I will conduct with taking the association in confidence and prove what I have done was not intended to hurt any of my fellow Indians, I humbly request not to take any actions against me till I do my clarification and if I have hurt any of my fellow Indians knowingly or unknowingly, I apologize to the whole country", read an excerpt of his letter.

Here's the full letter: 

The singer visited Pakistan to perform at Pervez Musharraf's close relative's wedding amid strained relationships between the two countries was not received well by many in India. The singer has been banned by film association FWICE (Federation of Western India Cine Employees) and AICWA (All India Cine Workers Association. Prior to his letter, the singer had reacted to the ban by retweeting a video of FWICE President B.N Tiwari in which he (Mika) mentioned receiving the letter and also urged the film body to not impose any restriction without hearing him out. 

He had captioned the post saying, "I would like to sincerely thank Mr. B.N. Tiwari and #FWICE for being so understanding towards me and my sentiments. As I always have done, I will continue to do good for my society and the people of my country. JaiHind.. #Supportindiansingers #Banpaksitanisingers."

MIKA SINGH'S KARACHI PERFORMANCE: 

As per media reports, Mika Singh and his troupe performed at the wedding of a billionaire's daughter, who was close to former Pakistan President General Pervez Musharaff. Mika reportedly performed on August 8 at the ceremony and his presence in the city came to light when some guests uploaded videos of his performance on social media. Mika Singh reportedly charged USD 150,000 for his performance at the wedding in Karachi. However, his performance raked up controversy after upset fans in India took to social media to express their displeasure over his Karachi visit.
