Akhtar on Friday had tweeted, “Am shocked to find my name on the poster of this film. Have not written any songs for it!”

Now, in an interview, Sameer revealed he had read Akhtar's tweet and called him to inform about his name also being credited without being informed about it. He even contacted the music label T-Series and they too weren’t aware, in case any of his old songs have been used. Sameer then contacted director Omung Kumar and one of the producers, Sandeep Ssingh, but they were unavailable on call. The veteran called the entire situation ‘incorrect’ and wished the makers rectify it at the earliest.
