American vocalist Selena Gomez has been struggling with mental health issues for some time. The 'We Don't Talk Anymore' singer recently got herself checked into the Cedars-Sinai Medical Center to take control of her mental health. Reportedly, the 'Another Cinderella Story' actress suffered an emotional breakdown twice post her hospitalisation in the past two weeks. The singer-turned-actress was admitted to Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles in September 2018, for she had a low white blood cell count. Reports suggest that this could be one of the side effects of the kidney transplant surgery Selena underwent in 2017. Gomez was hospitalised yet again for her cell count was poor and it got her worried, as reported.
As per reports, 'The Same old Love' singer had a meltdown and a panic attack as she tried to rip off the IVs off her arm. According to reports, it was then that Gomez realised that she needed more help to deal with her emotional issues. As per reports, Selena is doing better and was seeking treatment on the East Coast. Reportedly, the 'Bad Liar' singer has been trying really hard to remain focused and not let her health affect her. Reports suggest that Gomez has actively been writing new music and moved to Orange County for a change of pace and a breath of fresh air. With all of her arising health issues, Gomez started to feel overwhelmed, as reported.
Selena Gomez has been seeking treatment for anxiety and depression since around more than a year. As per reports, the 'Wizards Of Waverly Place' actress is currently undergoing treatment for dialectical behaviour therapy. Selena recently spoke about her mental health in one of her Instagram Live videos. In the same, the 'Wolves' singer also revealed that she had been a suffering from depression since the last five years.
