Well, Thala fans can breathe a sigh of relief for the reviews of the Siva directorial has mostly been positive. The film saw a massive opening all across TamilNadu with fans of the actor clamouring to watch it on the first day. It was expected to be a carnival for them, however, cinema lovers, in general, have also given it a thumbs up. 

One netizen critiqued that the first half is sold entertainment with great dialogue delivery whereas the second half is really engaging with lots of mass elements. A Thala said that he is completely satisfied with the film and termed 'Viswasam' as one of the best rural-themed films. 

Another netizen fawned over Ajith's screen presence and called it a good family entertainer and that even as a Vijay fan, he really liked it. One more Twitter user called it a sure shot winner and said that Thala fans can truly be happy with this film. However, there were a few who weren't entirely happy with the film.
