Akshay Kumar Unveils New Posters Of His Next '2.0' On His 51st Birthday

Akshay Kumar turned 51 on Sunday, September 9, and he had a rather special surprise for his fans. The 'Gold' actor, on his 51st birthday, treated his fans with the first look of his character from sci-fi drama '2.0' that stars South superstar Rajinikanth. Akshay who has been teasing the release date for the first official teaser of the film through his tweets, on Sunday, September 9, shared his devious look from the much awaited film.

The first official teaser of '2.0' will be releasing on the auspicious occasion of Ganesh Chaturthi on September 13.  Akshay who is reportedly playing the antagonist in the film shared another poster from the film and going by Akshay's post, its human beings who seem to be in danger as he describes his character as a dark superhero for those who don't have a voice and warns human beings to beware of him. Calling it his most powerful character, Akshay in his tweet wrote, "Here’s a special birthday treat for all my fans. Sharing with you my most powerful character & one which has probably stayed with me for the longest time. I am the dark superhero for those who don’t have a voice! HUMANS BEWARE! @2Point0movie @LycaProductions @DharmaMovies #2Point0".

Going by the tagline of the poster 'The World Is Not Only For Humans', with Akshay posing in his fierce look from the film, it seems like with '2.0' the 'Boss' actor will be posing as a danger for the human beings in the film.

Akshay Kumar's look from the much awaited '2.0' has definitely intrigued fans and the wait for the first official teaser seems to be getting longer. And Rajinikanth's fans too, have been waiting to see the superstar reprise his role of Dr.Vaseegaran and Chitti. '2.0' is a sequel to director S.Shankar's Tamil film 'Enthiran' (2010) titled 'Robot' for its Hindi version that also starred Aishwarya Rai Bachchan alongside Rajinikanth. 

Reported to be made on the estimated budget of Rs.500 crores, '2.0' is touted to be Indian Cinema's most expensive film. As per reports, '2.0' is being simultaneously shot in Tamil and Hindi and will also be dubbed in 13 other languages. Also starring Amy Jackson, '2.0' is expected to release in November 2018, after shifting the film's release date several times owing to its heavy graphics.
