Actor and self-proclaimed film critic, Kamaal R Khan, known for his bizarre film reviews and opinions on Twitter, is back, this time joking about his political agendas and plans. He is contesting the Lok Sabha elections 2019 on a Congress ticket from a constituency in Mumbai, KRK has claimed.
Days before Lok Sabha election 2019, Kamaal R Khan has joked that he is to join the Rahul Gandhi-led party in New Delhi, and will be contesting the upcoming elections from a constituency in Mumbai.
The Twitterati have, however, understood his April fool prank and trolled him instead. They said that he should try to make people a fool on April fool by using something that might be believable.
Earlier, he added his name to the list of B-town celebs like Shabana Amzi and Swara Bhaskar in supporting former JNU student union president Kanhaiya Kumar in crowd-sourcing his election campaign. Kumar is contesting on a CPI ticket from Bihar’s Begusarai district.
The Twitterati were unable to hold their laughter when he said that he will request Congress president Rahul Gandhi and RJD’s heir apparent Tejsahwi Yadav to not file any candidate against Kumar.
KRK has been a part of a number of controversies over the years, with his Twitter account also being blocked at one point before later being restored.
