Telugu film actor Nani made his television debut with the second season of 'Bigg Boss' Telugu. The 'MCA (Middle Class Abbayi)' actor recently opened up on his association with the reality show which concluded on Sunday, September 30. Reportedly, Nani said that being associated with the Telugu version of the reality show introduced him to the real world. Kaushal Manda was announced the winner of the show, as it ended on Sunday, September 30. Manda took home a cash prize of Rs. 50 lakh.
Talking about his experience about hosting the popular reality television show, Nani reportedly said that 'Bigg Boss' changed his view of the world. He further went on to say that before he joined the show as the host, he was living in a bubble and believed that the real world is a happy place, as reported. As per reports, the 'Nenu Local' actor said that 'Bigg Boss' made him realise that the world is made of all kinds of people including a few judgemental ones and that the television series has introduced him to the real world.
As much as Nani enjoyed his stint on the show as a host, he was subject to negativity when it came to the supporters of Kaushal Manda on social media who are known as Kaushal Army. Expressing his thoughts about the same, Nani reportedly said that he has never dealt with so many hate messages in his life and that the show made him realise that one can't please everyone in this world. According to reports, the actor went on to say that there will always be some people who don't like one and that there was nothing one can do about it. Reports suggest that 'Bigg Boss' took up more of his time than he had anticipated and said that the last three months had been the most stressful phase of his career.
According to reports, the 'Devadas' actor said that despite the fact that he was doing three films a year, he would somehow find two weeks to spend time with his family apart from regular weekend breaks. However, according to the actor, the second season of the Telugu version of 'Bigg Boss' took up more time than he had expected, and that he also had to shoot for Akkineni Nagarjuna starrer 'Devadas', as reported. As per reports, Nani said that it was finally time for him to go on a much-needed holiday.
What's next for Nani
Nani who is riding high on the success of 'Devadas' starring Akkineni Nagarjuna will next be seen in a sports drama titled 'Jersey' essaying the role of a cricketer. The film revolves around a late bloomer which unfolds between 1986 to 1996. 'Jersey' will be helmed by Gowtam Tinnanuri.
As per reports, Nani said that 'Jersey' will be one of the most prestigious projects of his career wherein he will essay the role of a batsman. Reports suggest that Nani has been staring really hard for the role by practising for around three and a half hours on a daily basis. The film is slated to go on floors on the occasion of Dussehra 2018.
