Chetan spoke about his book how it stands out from the previous ones which were mostly based on love stories. He said, “This time I have departed from the typical Chetan Bhagat love story. It is an unlove story. I think love is great — I may have pushed it too much — but sometimes in life, you have to unlove… we all have (had) situation where we have to unlove someone."

At the launch, the author also spoke about the movie-style promo of the book and said that usually, books don't get this kind of promos.

Bhagat said, “It is a movie-style promo. Such promos for books does not exist, I have to, again and again, explain to people that you have to read the book to figure out what happened… because the joy of books is something else."

The trailer was directed by Mohit Suri and features Vikrant Massey. Mohit has also directed the film 'Half Girlfriend' starring Shraddha Kapoor and Arjun Kapoor which was based on Chetan Bhagat's novel by the same name.

Chetan, who is best known to write books based on love stories has now shifted to the thriller genre. This is the first time Bhagat's fans can explore his stint with the genre in this new novel.

Bhagat further added, "I am excited to explore the thriller genre for the first time and readers who have previewed the book have given a fantastic response to it."
