The head of Sree Siddaganga Matha, Sri Shivakumara Swamiji, passed away on January 21, 2019. The Siddaganga Education Trust announced the passing away of 112-year-old seer at 11.44 am on Monday. Since then, several national leaders have paid their respects and tributes for the late Sri Shivakumara Swamiji. Joining the list now is 'KGF' actor Yash.
Taking to Twitter, the Rocking Star shared a picture of himself with the Siddaganga Mutt Seer. In the click, the actor can be seen humbly sitting on the ground next to Sri Shivakumara Swamiji as they are surrounded by devotees. The actor has his eyes closed and seems to be deep in prayer or meditation. Along with this picture, he also had a touching caption in Kannada where he wrote, "The walking God is united with the invisible God".
Other than the actor, many prominent celebs from the Kannada film industry tweeted out their tribute. Kichcha Sudeep, who is one of the most prominent names in Sandalwood wrote, "Sri Shivakumara Swamiji has left this world today and pray for His soul to seek peace".
'KGF' producer Karthik Gowda also tweeted out his respects for Sri Shivakumara Swamiji.
While the Kannada film industry is in mourning over this tragic demise, Prime Minister Narendra Modi also shared a eulogy on the Siddaganga Mutt Seer.
