'Red Notice', 'Shang-Chi', 'Special Ops 1.5': 10 new releases coming on OTT this weekend

As more content is being released online amid the COVID-19 pandemic, the competition on Over-the-Top platforms is rising. As a result, there is a new film or show hitting the web almost every week. This week is no different. 

There is something new on all platforms, be it Netflix or Disney + Hotstar. Right from a new film, previously released blockbusters or series, there is something in store for those planning a binge-watching night. Here are the new OTT releases this weekend:

Red Notice

The Dwayne Johnson-Gal Gadot-Ryan Reynolds starrer is arguably the biggest OTT release of this weekend. The movie, which was released in limited theatres last week, is an action-comedy involving a heist and the FBI. Releases on Netflix on November 12.

Shang Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings 

A blockbuster at the ticket windows for Marvel this year despite the COVID-19 pandemic, the superhero venture Shang Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings is a special release for Disney + Day and hits Disney+ Hostar on November 12.

Home Sweet Home Alone 

The popular story of a mischievous child having a blast when his parents are away is back after nine years with Home Sweet Home Alone. The venture releases on Disney+Hotstar on Disney+ Day on November 12. 

Jungle Cruise

Jungle Cruise, which is based on the ride of the same name in Disneyland, stars Dwayne Johnson and Emily Blunt and had hit the theatres earlier this year. This will release on Disney+Hotstar on Disney + Day. 

Special Ops 1.5: The Himmat Singh

The sequel or rather the prequel to popular intelligence-based action thriller Special Ops, the venture traces the younger life of the RAW officer, played by Kay Kay Menon. Releases on Disney+Hotstar on November 12.

Kanakam Kaamini Kalaham

Kanakam Kaamini Kalaham is a Malayalam film starring Nivin Pauly and is a satire-comedy film, which features some slapstick-like scenes in the trailer. The venture hits Disney+Hotstar on November 12. 

Squad 

Danny Denzongpa's son Rinzing Dengonzpa plays the role of a security officer in an action thriller which also stars K3G star Malvika Raaj. The venture hits Zee5 on November 12.

Chumbak 

National Award-winning movie Chumbak, a Marathi slice of life drama, can also be added to your watchlist. The venture hits Sony Liv on November 12.

Aranmanai 3 

Arya-starrer Tamil Aranmanai 3  is a horror-comedy that also stars Raashi Khanna and Andrea Jeremiah and had released in the theatres last month. It hits Zee5 on November 12.

Myntra Fashion Superstar 

The upcoming season of Myntra Fashion Superstar, which is a competition involving fashion influencers, is releasing on Voot on November 11. The show will have a jury panel of influencers including Kusha Kapila, Aashna Shroff, Ankush Bahuguna, and Santu Misra, all these will be led by top-notch fashion designer, Manish Malhotra.
