Suhel Seth marries Lakshmi Menon in Gurugram ceremony

Suhel Seth married Lakshmi Menon on Tuesday. 

The ceremony took place at the adman-entrepreneur's residence in Gurugram on Christmas day. The couple had sent invitations to their near and dear ones to ‘celebrate something special’ with ‘dinner and drinks’ without mentioning their marriage.   

The celebrations were ‘quiet’ according to guests who were present at the ceremony and only people who Seth considers as friends were invited. 

30 guests were a part of the celebrations from Delhi’s fashion and political circles. As per reports, former Delhi Chief Minister Sheila Dixit, Member of Parliament-football administrator Praful Patel, Member of Parliament Amar Singh, director-fashion designer Muzaffar Ali, entrepreneurs Tasneem and Vikram Mehta, journalist-writer Tarun Tejpal were among the invitees for the evening. 

37-year-old Lakshmi Menon is a popular model who started her career in Bangalore. She has worked with renowned designers, national as well as international. Lakshmi has also worked with the top brands and magazines and won several honours over the course of her career.

Seth has donned multiple hats as an adman, brand consultant, entrepreneur, columnist, writer and actor. He has worked in popular films like 'Calendar Girls', 'Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara', 'Guzaarish' and 'Rog'. He is well-known in the film industry circles and is said to be close to numerous big names of Bollywood.   

The couple had been dating for over a year before they decided to take the plunge. Reports claim that Seth and Lakshmi had got engaged in October with their family members in tow. Even the engagement ceremony had taken place at his Gurugram residence. They had set off for a vacation to Goa and Switzerland later on. The duo had also attended a wedding sangeet in Delhi a few days ago. 

Suhel-Lakshmi join many other celebrities who got hitched in 2018. Ranveer Singh-Deepika Padukone, Priyanka Chopra-Nick Jonas, Kapil Sharma-Ginni Chatrath, Isha Ambani-Anand Piramal were some of the other names who were a part of the headlines for their weddings.
