His next movie 'Sarkar' had also gathered the same attention since the name itself sounds political & the Actor spoke for about 9 minutes only on politics to a question asked on what he would do if he became the chief minister of the state.

Iliya thalapathy replied, "I won't act like one.I will do my job sincerely".Clearly, putting forth a strong message to the people and the government which got huge applauds for many minutes.

He also told that  "If the people on top are correct then the rest will be fine. A man has to pay bribe to get both death certificates and birth certificates. Why do people at the bottom collect money? It is because people from the top collect it".

He also said, "if the leader is good, so will his party be good. Why was the Congress good under Gandhi ji? I'm not saying anything bad. It was a super party because Gandhi ji was a good man".

"People usually contest in elections to form the government but here we have our Sarkar and will contest in elections", said the next superstar of the state.

ADMK minister RB Udhayakumar who reacted to the statement of Vijay told that " We can enjoy Vijay acting as CM in the movie, but it cannot happen really because actors don't know what politics is, Let him jump into politics & let's see what happens then".

Actor Vijay has got a huge youth following & falls under the lineage of superstar Rajinikanth, Vijay also got a massive support by his fans & also from the film fraternity during the mersal movie controversy which made his base more stronger. Whether or not, Vijay is going to jump into politics, But this has created some kind of tremors in the state, This has also become the headlines & debate topic for most of the top regional channels as well.
