Vijay starrer 'Sarkar' film has been making a lot of noise lately be it for the fact of its much-awaited release or the controversies surrounding it.
In the recent state of affairs, the makers of the film, precisely the producers have decided to delete the controversial scenes from the film. According to popular reports, speaking at a press conference on November 7, Minister Kadambur Raju said, "People will not accept these political motives."
As the film released in theatres this Diwali with much aplomb, reports suggest Tamil Nadu government warned action on the film that is politically loaded. The Information and Publicity Minister of Tamil Nadu along with the Law Minister of Tamil Nadu have warned action against the screening of the film that is currently running to packed screens across theatres in the state. This happened a day after the release of the AR Murugadoss directorial. Veteran actor Kamal Haasan took to his Twitter handle siding with the makers of 'Sarkar'. In a heartfelt tweet, he said that this is an attempt to manipulate. This isn't the first time this has happened. Read his tweet below:
Meanwhile, 'Sarkar' was in news to be screened for 24 hours on Diwali in a theatre in Kerala named Kartika. 'Thalapathy' Vijay fans reportedly created a record by unveiling a grand cutout of the 'Sarkar' actor during the release of the film. The cut-out, featuring his look from 'Sarkar', measured 175 feet and is said to be the tallest for an Indian actor in the country.
