Vishal to star in an action-thriller titled 'Chakra', first look launched

Actor Vishal has evidently had an amazing 2019 with multiple releases. His action-drama film Ayogya released back in May 2019, Now Vishal has featured in a film titled Action. The film released on November 15, 2019. Action is an espionage thriller which is reportedly being appreciated by critics and fans alike. On the day of the release of Action, Vishal has shared the first look poster of his next film titled Chakra.

Chakra is being helmed by debutant director MS Anandan. It is reportedly going to be an action-thriller film. Shraddha Srinath and Regina Cassandra will also be making an appearance in the film alongside Vishal. Earlier it was being speculated that Chakra will be a sequel to the 2018 film Irumbu Thirai, but those rumours have been cleared by the makers of the films. Chakra is all set to be a fresh thriller film and not a sequel or prequel film. Actor Vishal's fans have reacted to the first look posters on Twitter.

As per reports, Chakra is set to be a thriller with a patriotic backdrop. Vishal will be essaying the role of an Army officer, while Shraddha will portraying the role of a police officer. Vishal's home production house Vishal Film Factory is bankrolling the project. The makers of the film are reportedly considering a Pongal 2020 release for Chakra.
