A video has been captured of powerful flash floods in China sweeping cars into a river on June 27. 

Two visuals of parked cars being swept into the Wu river in China surfaced on the Internet. The videos were reportedly captured in the Guizhou province in southwest China. Residents of Yanhe Tujia Autonomous County in China witnessed flash floods that were caused by severe rain on Saturday.

The clips show vehicles parked on a roadside washing down a hill before dropping into the river. The two videos of the same scene were captured from different angles. While the first clip shows the cars disappearing after falling off the hill, the other was taken from a side angle and shows the cars going down the hill to reach the river.

According to CGTN, the rainstorm took the lives of two people while four are missing. They also caused serious damage to the crops and public facilities. Many people have been evacuated from their homes to safe places.

However, this was not the only incident where the wrath of mother nature was witnessed. Earlier this month, China's Fujian, Wupung, etc saw a massive landslide that swept away a row of cars parked on a road. The landslide also managed to take the entire row of vehicles to the other side of the road.

Thousands of people were stranded and at least five killed amid torrential rain throughout central and southern China on June 9. As per reports the floods wiped out 10,800 hectares of crops and destroyed hundreds of houses in the Jiangxi province with a total of 1.4 million people affected and direct economic losses amounting to 2.65 billion yuan. In the region of Guangxi in the southwest, 20,000 households had their power cut and roads, bridges and other infrastructures were severely damaged.
