Cinema is one medium that doesn't have any borders; that's the reason some of the film celebrities enjoy immense popularity in areas apart from their native places. We saw one example of this recently on the occasion of Prabhas' birthday yesterday. The Telugu superstar, known for the blockbuster success of 'Baahubali', turned 39 on Tuesday, and apart from the events held in Andra Pradesh, Telangana and other South states, there was a reason to celebrate for fans of the actor in Japan too. Such a celebration video from the Asian country is going viral on Twitter.

We see Japanese women holding photographs of Prabhas with a garland over it. They also hold charts of the superstar's sketch, addressing him 'Darling Prabhas', a term that got stuck to him since the release of his 2010 film. At the end of the video, we see the fans celebrating by jubilantly launching what looks like flowers or decorative items in the air.

The reason for Prabhas' popularity in Japan was courtesy his film 'Baahubali' which was apparently loved by the masses at the time of release. Even the director of the film, S S Rajamouli had shared gifts he received from the country due to their love for the film and the actors.
