Netflix really has some ambitious plans for India, which is evident in its upcoming film 'Mowgli: Legend of the Jungle'. The Andy Serkis film's trailer was released in a grand manner in India which saw the stars of the English and Hindi version share the same stage. And it must be said that the trailers in both languages are amazing.

The story is an age-old one, about a boy who is lost in the jungle and is adopted by wolves. This human boy then befriends a panther Bagheera, voiced by Abhishek Bachchan, a bear Baloo, voiced by Anil Kapoor and is raised by a wolf Nisha, played by Madhuri Dixit. But things take a turn for the worse when Mowgli finds other humans and is now torn between his jungle and village friends. In the meanwhile, a conflict arises as man is slowly taking over the jungle. Now, Mowgli must rally the animals to defend their territory while also facing off with Sher Khan, the fearsome tiger and main antagonist which is voiced by Jackie Shroff.

Overall, the trailer is truly epic in both versions and fans of Hindi cinema can rest easy knowing that there is no compromise in quality. Andy Serkis, being a master at motion capturing has aced the movements of animals to perfection. All voice actors have done justice to their part but Jackie Shroff stands out as his Sher Khan is truly menacing in both look and tone.

It boasts of Hollywood stars such as Christian Bale, Benedict Cumberbatch, Cate Blanchett, Naomi Harris, Andy Serkis, Matthew Ryhs, Freida Pinto and Rohan Chand. Releasing on the digital streaming platform in both languages, the film is all set to come out on December 7.
