Vicky Kaushal has started off 2019 with a bang with the release of 'Uri: The Surgical Strike'. Based on the Indian army's daring secret mission to destroy terrorist launchpads in Pakistan, the film has become a rage since its release on Friday.
Recently, Republic TV exclusively got in touch with the 'Uri' actor, where he opened up about the various aspects of his film and was also asked about him proposing to Bollywood actress Kaif at a recent awards show. To which, the actor gave a remarkably honest reply and said ' You do know that all award shows are scripted right'? 'Yes we will get married to different people, and our wedding cards will also be printed at one point in time, but there is nothing happening between me and her' he further added.
The Vicky Kaushal starrer 'Uri' has already released and is 'flying at the box office' as per various critics. The film earned Rs 8.20 crore on the opening day, according to figures tweeted by Taran Adarsh. The trade analyst also expected the war drama to witness further growth at the ticket windows in the next two days.
Aditya Dhar's ‘Uri: The Surgical Strike’ is the adaptation of the Indian Army’s attack at suspected militants in Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (PoK) in the wake of the attacks in Jammu and Kashmir’s Uri in September 2016.
