Kannada film, 'KGF' starring created a havoc at the box office in 2018 and smashed all the records. And, now after impressing the audience with his power-packed performance, he is all set to win the viewers' hearts with the sequel. Meanwhile, as the shooting for the much-awaited sequel has started, a leaked picture of the actor has been doing rounds on social media and netizens claim that it is from 'KGF: Chapter 2'.

As per reports, the makers of the sequel are aiming to complete the shooting of the film by January 2010 and will release the film in the summer. Meanwhile, the buzz is also that Bollywood actor Sanjay Dutt will be roped in to play the role of a villain opposite Yash in the sequel.

Meanwhile, The cast and crew of the film prayed at the Kodandarama Temple in Vijayanagar in Bengaluru to mark the start of their journey. "Today at 9:30, with the blessings of god and love and support of all of you, we are starting the shooting of KGF Chapter 2," tweeted Vijay Kirgandur, the producer of the film under the banner Hombale Films.
