Jailer, Baahubali 2, 2.0: South Indian Films That Earned Rs 500 Crore At Box Office

The SS Rajamouli film Baahubali 2 is the highest grossing South Indian film ever, and on top of the Rs 500 crore grossers with a collection of Rs 1810.59 crore worldwide.

Ram Charan and Jr NTR starrer RRR is the second highest grossing South Indian film, as per trade analyst Manobala Vijayabalan. The SS Rajamouli film made Rs 1276.20 crore throughout its entire run.

KGF Chapter 2 holds the rank of the third highest grossing South Indian film with a WW collection of Rs 1259.14 crore.

Rajinikanth's 2Point0 is the fourth highest grossing South Indian film with a collection of Rs Rs 800 crore.

Baahubali, the first part, made Rs 650 crore worldwide throughout its theatrical run, which makes it the fifth highest grossing South Indian film ever.

Jailer, which is just 10 days into its theatrical run, has made a collection of Rs 514.25 crore. 

Ponniyin Selvan I, the first film in the Mani Ratnam franchise, has a box office collection of Rs 500 crore approximately.
