Shruti Haasan returned from Dubai after attending the South Indian International Film Awards (SIIMA 2023). The actress landed in Mumbai on September 17 and embarked on a scary fan encounter. A video of a man stalking the actress for a picture has been doing rounds on social media.

Shruti Haasan gets angry at a fan stalking her at the airport 

In a viral video, the Luck actress can be seen bewildered upon her landing in Mumbai on the wee hours of September 17. The actress was unable to find her car in the parking lot and was worried about the same when she noticed a man following her with his phone. The man followed the actress and her team into the parking lot.

Shruti notices the man following her and asks her team "who is he". She then informs them that she does not know the man. When the man attempts to talk to her, she ignores him and gets in the car claiming, “I do not know who you are, sir”. 

Shruti Hassan prepares for Salaar 

Shruti Haasan plays a pivotal role in the upcoming action film Salaar. The actress will share the screen space with Prabhas in the film. The film is directed by Prashanth Neel. Apart from Shruti Haasan and Prabhas, the film also stars Prithviraj Sukumaran and Jagapathi Babu.

Earlier slated to release on September 28, the production house of the film recently announced that the release date of the movie has been pushed. The movie will now release on August 15, 2024. Apart from Salaar, Shruti Haasan will also be seen in Nani 30 and The Eye.
