Indian comedian Bharti Singh has confirmed her entry in 'Bigg Boss 12' along with husband Haarsh Limbachiyaa. The newlywed is reportedly the first celebrity couple to sign up for the show. 'Bigg Boss 12' had a grand launch in Goa last week where the host Bollywood star Salman Khan took up his role and interacted with the media. Bharti and Haarsh joined him on the stage confirming their entry into the controversial reality tv show. They jokingly stated that money was a major factor for them saying yes to the show. It was for the first time in the history of the reality show that the makers announced its contestant beforehand. Reportedly, the pair is charging Rs. 50 lakh per week for their participation.
In an interview with the Indian Express, the couple opened up about their participation in the show. The key points of the interview are as follows:
Bharti Singh who has been the face of the television reality show 'India's Got Talent' will not be seen in the upcoming season. Bharti who co-hosts the show with Rithvik Dhanjani will be in the Big Boss house for three months and thus won't be able to host IGT. As the comedian-actress informed someone else will replace her in the show this time. While on one hand she is very upset about not being a part of IGT, on the other, she is super excited to be a part of the upcoming Big Boss season.
While talking about their participation on the reality show, Bharati said that after a long honeymoon, they flew to Argentina for Khatron Ke Khiladi (KKK) together, and now while participating in the 'Big Boss 12' they might plan a baby, she joked. Bharti is happy about participating in the show with husband Haarsh Limbachiyaa. The comedian said, that her busy husband will be left with no better option than to stay with her for the 3 months duration of the show and she is happy that they will get to spend time together.
However, writer Haarsh Limbachiyaa had a second thought in being featured on-screen. The screen-conscious husband believes he is better behind the camera. Although Haarsh is confident about his relationship, he said he is a bit scared as his personal life will be publicized and will be judged by many. He said he has always worked behind the camera and avoided doing shows. Even when the couple participated in 'Nach Baliye', he said he was quite apprehensive. However, he considers 'Khatron Ke Khiladi' to be a great experience.
Laughter queen Bharti and husband Haarsh also opened up about how they are planning to make it up to the Big Boss finals. While Haarsh is planning to play it safe, Bharti said she's sorted as she would have her "own personal shoulder to cry on." She is all confident that she won't do unnecessary drama and will not lose her temper unless someone offends her on a serious note.
