Chamber of Film journalists hits out at Kapil Sharma for his 'Misbehaviour'

After comedian-turned-actor Kapil Sharma insulted, abused and threatened senior journalist Vickey Lalwani, the Chamber of Film Journalists has strongly condemned the behavior of Sharma. 

The Chamber of Film Journalist has put out a statement slamming Sharma for his misbehavior.

"As reported by Vickey, he was badly abused by Kapil on phone. Kapil has started gaining notoriety for his misbehaviour towards his co-stars and now media persons too. Ups and downs are parts of life and one must handle them with maturity. Kapil must realise that his such act will take him nowhere. Secondly he used bad words for Vickey's daughter. This is unpardonable act. This reflects his state of frustration and this is not good for Kapil himself. May good sense prevail upon him," the statement read.

Prior to film journalist body's reaction over the issue, Vickey said that what Kapil is doing is "pure gag on the media."

“It is a pure gag on the media. If he believes he can attack media, media needs to stand up and say you cannot gag the media,” said Lalwani.

Earlier in the day, Kapil Sharma filed a police complaint against his ex-managers Neeti Simoes, Preeti Simoes and journalist Vickey Lalwani for trying to extort Rs 25 lakh from him. Kapil also alleged Vickey Lalwani started a false and malicious propaganda to defame him in digital media after he refused to pay him the amount. After Kapil's complaint, Lalwani told Republic TV that he will file a counter-complaint against the comedian-turned-actor.

While speaking exclusively to Republic TV, Vickey Lalwani revealed said that he has enough evidence to file a counter complaint against Kapil Sharma. Lalwani also alleged that Sharma had hurled abuses at him and claimed that his daughter wanted to sleep with him.

Reacting on Sharma's allegations, Lalwani asserted their website reported the truth about Kapil Sharma making Rani Mukerji wait for the shoot and canceling it later.
