Kapil Sharma and Ginni Chatrath got married in Jalandhar on Wednesday. A day later, the newlyweds exchanged vows at the Anand Karaj ceremony, the wedding rituals according to Sikh customs.
The couple were again dressed in their royal avatars, the groom in a white bandhgala and pink turban and the bride in a pink-golden lehenga and traditional Indian jewellery. The actor-comedian and his wife’s smiles were delightful in the pictures shared by him. He captioned the post in Punjabi, but we are sure it’d be something amazing related to the wedding.
Like their previous wedding, inside videos also surfaced on social media. What was also interesting is how it is being announced in the Gurudwara how it’d odd to see Kapil serious during the rituals, referring to his comic avatar in TV and movies. He is also praised for the reputation he’s earned over the years and how everyone knows him today. The couple is also seen whispering to each other and it seemed as if the comedian is explaining some of the rituals to his wife.
Neha Dhupia-Angad Bedi, Sonam K Ahuja-Anand Ahuja and Deepika Padukone-Ranveer Singh were the other couples who got married through Anand Karaj ceremony this year.
