Kaun Banega Crorepati 11 has brought forward many amazing contestants and has also had some extremely intelligent people playing the game. In the episode that aired on November 18, a contestant named Prateek Kalkal got the chance to play at the hot seat. Kalkal's confidence and knowledge earned him ₹ 3.2 lakhs, but the problem arose in the next question.
Prateek Kalkal reached the 10th question worth ₹ 3.2 lakhs with great confidence. But, the 11th question of the game left him in confusion. The question was: In 2019, Pepsico and 9 Indian farmers were involved in a controversy over the FC5, which is a variety of which of these plants? The options were Sugarcane, Potato, Soyabean and Coffee. The correct answer for this is Potato.
Prateek was seen holding his head while he thought hard about the answer. Host Amitabh, trying to rev up Prateek's mind, told him that it was a very famous discussion among the farmers. Prateek first talked about how potato is not related to PepsiCo. Prateek's guesses were either sugarcane or coffee. Prateek had already used up all his lifelines on his previous questions. He then guessed coffee, but the answer was incorrect.
After Prateek left winning ₹ 3,20,000, Amitabh Bachchan played the Fastest Finger First question with the remaining contenders of the Hot Seat. The question was "Starting with the earliest, arrange these women chief ministers in the order in which they first became chief ministers". The options were: Sheila Dikshit, Mamata Banerjee, Sushma Swaraj, and Mehbooba Mufti. The correct order is Sushma Swaraj, Sheila Dikshit, Mamta Banerjee and Mehbooba Mufti. Jitendra Singh Chauhan won the round but before he could play the game, the time of the episode was up.
