KBC 11 Written Update: Pratik's inspiring story of self-sustainable village

KBC 11: In the 66th episode, Pratik Kalkal was welcomed to the hot seat. He talked about his journey to bring electricity to his village and also his dreams.

Kaun Banega Crorepati, currently hosted by veteran star Amitabh Bachchan, has been widely famous since its inception. The show is in its 11th season and has proven to be a great success in India. KBC is considered to be a great platform, wherein citizens from different states in India share their inspirational stories too, before playing the game. Here is what happened in the last episode.

In the 66th episode of Kaun Banega Crorepati, the episode started with Amitabh Bachchan acknowledging the importance of Indian sign language. The actor sent a special message to all the deaf and dumb people in sign language. The message was, “We all are with you. You all are like one of our own and to understand one another, we don’t need words. We need hearts. And from all our hearts, only one thing comes, that we all love you.” Amitabh then introduced all the new 10 players of the game. After that, he asked the 'fastest finger first' question. Pratik Kalkal was the fastest one to answer and was welcomed to the hot seat.

Pratik Kalkal was a PhD student from Rupnagar, Punjab. In the introductory video of Pratik, he revealed that he was born in a small village and he wanted to bring electricity in the place he lived and also make it a self-sustainable village. Further, he talked about the resources that he wanted for the same and how he managed to get them. He also explained how he was able to bring electricity to his village successfully. Later, he said that whatever money he will win he would invest in making a self-sustainable village. The game started with Pratik and he smartly played to win ₹ 3,20,000. The 11th question was asked to Pratik for ₹ 6,40,000. Pratik was in a dilemma while answering the question, however, he chose to answer the question. Unfortunately, he answered the question wrong and lost the game. Pratik left the game by winning ₹ 3,20,000. Amitabh played the 'fastest finger first' again with the remaining contestants. The fastest one to answer was Jitendra Singh Chauhan from Delhi and he was welcomed to the hot seat. The ending bell rang and the episode ended with Jitendra Singh Chauhan on the hot seat.
