Ever since the first pictures of Taimur Ali Khan came out, he has become a nationwide phenomenon. The paparazzi seem to not get enough of the star kid and in return, he too loves to pose for the shutterbugs. Now, during an episode of 'Koffee With Karan', his father Saif Ali Khan had an interesting revelation about Taimur.
When the conversation came to the starkid's rate card per picture, Saif disclosed that it was priced at Rs 1500 per photograph. However, Karan was not buying it and said that his rate surpasses that of all superstars in Bollywood. Considering the social media frenzy around him, this may not be far from the truth. Saif also revealed that Taimur loves the attention and says hello and hey when he encounters the paparazzi. The actor also added that even though many have warned him that it is dangerous, he feels that the paps have been quite good with his son.
After this candid confession, KJo joked that maybe Yash and Roohi could learn a thing or two from Taimur. This is not the first time that Saif has joked about his son's popularity with the media. Earlier on, he had revealed how that every producer he works with nowadays ‘half-jokingly’ proposes the idea of featuring Taimur during promotions, with hair made up like his dad's, ‘grey’ in ‘Baazaar’, with a rubber band in ‘Kaalakaandi’ and a long wig in upcoming film ‘Hunter.’
The ‘Omkara’ star revealed that he has even shared the idea with actor-wife Kareena Kapoor Khan. And the latter thought he was being ‘cheap’ and asked him how could he even think of ‘selling’ his son. But Saif felt that there was nothing wrong with a little endorsement and said that he would charge a lot if anyone is to work with Taimur, all in a jesting manner of course.
Other than talking about his little son, the actor also talked about the day when he was set to marry Kareen and how he actually wrote a letter to Amrita Singh on the day of the nuptials.
