7:05 AM: Filmmaker Glenn Weiss proposed his girlfriend on the stage of the 70th Primetime Emmy Awards. As the director went up to the stage to accept the award for a variety special, remembered his mother and talked about how his mother loved his girlfriend. Going down on his knees for his beloved the filmmaker said, "You wonder why I don't like to call you my girlfriend? Because I want to call you my wife." The crowd cheered this unique way of proposing during Emmys.

The prestigious television award ceremony, the 70th Primetime Emmy Awards is all set to be held at Microsoft Theater, Los Angeles, California, United States, on Tuesday, Sep 18, 2018. The event will be hosted by Colin Jost and Michael Che from the 'Saturday Night Live'. The Creative Arts Emmy Awards that celebrates outstanding artistic and technical achievement across a variety of television genres recorded huge achievement of the television series.
