Kapil Sharma and Ginni Chatrath's Mumbai reception was attended by many of the popular faces of Bollywood and television industry. One of the first few guests to arrive at the reception venue were Salman Khan's father Salim and brother Sohail Khan. But, many were expecting the presence of Salman Khan and Sunil Grover.

However, not just Sunil but even Salman was missing from the star-studded party. As per reports, this is because Salman Khan was busy preparing for the ' Bigg Boss 12' finale. However, later in the night, Salman Khan was seen attending Katrina Kaif's Christmas bash at her residence in Mumbai. Not just Salman, even Sunil Grover was spotted at the party

According to reports, Sunil Grover was invited for Kapil Sharma and Ginni Chatrath's reception and he even had agreed to attend it but his absence from the reception party suggests that not all is forgotten.

Sunil Grover starred in Kapil Sharma's shows - Comedy Nights With Kapil and the previous seasons of The Kapil Sharma Show. However, the 41-year-old comedian quit The Kapil Sharma Show, after Kapil reportedly abused him while he was flying home from Melbourne last year.

Actor-comic Sunil Grover previously stated that Salman Khan approached him to be a part of his former collaborator Kapil Sharma’s comeback show but he declined due to scheduling issues. There have been rumours that Salman, who has produced Kapil’s new comedy TV gig, has been trying to mediate a patch-up between the ex-co-stars.

On the work front, Salman Khan and Sunil Grover will together be seen in 'Bharat' that is slated to release in 2019. As for Kapil Sharma, he is all set to make a comeback on TV with a new show. The makers recently released a teaser of the same, which was well received by the audience.
