All about the Disney+ show.

The Mandalorian will be following the after-story of Jango Fett and Boba Fett, the bounty hunters. It will be a story of a new warrior who will take up the mantel of the warrior in the new Star Wars universe. The series will follow up the aftermath of the empire’s fall and the time before the First Order emerges. It will be the story of how the lone gunslinger will engage in painful or laborious effort to stay away from the reach of the authorities of the New Republic.

In the trailer, we can see many references to the original series like the carbonite in which Han Solo was kept when he was taken by the Jabba the Hutt. Similar carbonite things can be seen in The Mandalorian’s ship the Razor-Crest. In the next scenes, we can see Razor-Crest slice through the air. The suit of Mandalorian is made of the same material as the suit of Captain Phasma. At the end of the trailer, we also see the same weapon used by Boba Fett in 1978. The Star Wars Holiday Special gives a nod to the legacy The Mandalorian is carrying forward.
