Rishab Shetty wins Best Actor award for Kantara

Rishab Shetty has shared a video on his Instagram handle recalling the moment of glory for Kannada cinema. The actor had also directed the movie which revolves around Panjurli Daiva, a deity that protects the villagers that reside in the forest. "A moment of glory for Kannada Cinema. We are deeply honoured to receive the prestigious #NationalFilmAwards for #Kantara. Every step of this journey has been special, and we are grateful to the jury for the recognition," read the caption.

Mani Ratnam with PS1 Producer Subaskaran after winning the National Film Award

The Instagram page of Madras Talkies shared a photo of legendary filmmaker Mani Ratnam posing with producer Subaskaran. Ponniyin Selvan 1 has won four awards in the categories - Best Cinematography, Best Sound Design, Best Music Direction and Best Tamil Feature Film. The album also includes Mani Ratnam's photo with his wife Suhasini Maniratnam.

Neena Gupta poses with the CISF officers

Neena Gupta, who won the Best Supporting Actress award for her performance in Uunchai, posed with CISF officers during the award ceremony. She shared the photo on her Instagram handle and captioned it as “Ab Darr Kahe Ka ..”

For the ceremony, Neena wore a pink saree and added pink roses to her hair to accentuate her look.
