SIIMA 2024: The 12th edition of the South Indian International Movie Awards (SIIMA) will take place in Dubai over the weekend. The who's who of South cinema have landed in Dubai for the grand event and more are expected to arrive soon for the celebration of movies on September 15. Aishwarya Rai and her daughter Aaradhya, Vikram, Mrunal Thakur, Rakshit Shetty, Shriya Saran, Rana Daggubati and more celebs were snapped in various parts of Dubai ahead of the awards night.

Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and her daughter Aaradhya on Saturday reached Dubai to attend the South Indian International Movie Awards (SIIMA) 2024. Several visuals from Dubai surfaced online in which the mother-daughter jodi can be seen receiving a warm welcome.

Earlier, Mrunal Thakur was also spotted arriving in Dubai. Many stars including Rana Daggubati, Shriya Saran were snapped at their hotels. A snap of Rakshit Shetty with his Sapta Sagaradaache Ello team was shared online and quickly went viral. In another moment, Vikram was seen interacting with his fans. SIIMA technical awards are being presented on September 14, while the main event will be held on Sunday, September 15.

Who are the leading nominees at SIIMA?

The 12th Edition of the South Indian International Movie Awards will take place till September 15. Telugu film Dasara, Tamil film Jailer, Kannada film Kaatera and the Malayalam film 2018 bagged the most nominations. Srikanth Odela's Dasara, starring Nani and Keerthy Suresh bagged 11 nominations, with Souryuv's Nani, Mrunal Thakur's Hi Nanna following closely with 10. Now it is to be seen who will take the trophies home.
