Akshay Kumar Recalls How Actress Was Molested By Fans On Pretext Of Clicking Photos

Bollywood News: Akshay Kumar is one of the most prominent actors in the Hindi film industry. He enjoys a huge fan base and is always a delight for the audience to watch on-screen. A video of the actor has recently surfaced on social media in which he recalls how actresses face casual harassment. 

What did Akshay Kumar say in the video clip?

The Khel Khel Mein actor said in the video, "Naam nahi loonga. Ek heroine thi, toh 2 ladke aaye aur main door baitha hua tha, main dekh raha tha. Voh ladke aaye aur bole, ‘Ek photo?’ Yeh photo liya aur usne bola, ‘1, 2, 3.’ Jaisehi 3 bola, he kissed her. Now see the plan, he kissed her and ran this side. The other one ran that side.”

He further added, “The security didn’t understand whether to catch the man who took the photo or the one who kissed her. He got confused and they both ran away.” Ranveer Singh, who was also in the video, said, “Yeh dekho, badmashi.” Akshay continued, “Ab voh photo jayegi, ‘Dekho, isko kiss kiya Maine. Tu kar sakta hai kya?'”

This video viral has come amid the ongoing Hema Committee Report which has led to a political storm in the Malayalam film industry and brought to light rampant sexual harassment, discrimination and exploitation faced by women professionals.

What’s next for Akshay Kumar?

After the recent release of Khel Khel Mein, which has received a lukewarm response, Akshay is all set for his next movie Sky Force, an action thriller, co-starring Nimrat Kaur and Sara Ali Khan. 

It is a take on India's retaliatory attack on the Sargodha airbase of Pakistan in the Indo-Pakistani air war of 1965, described as India's first and deadliest airstrike. Sky Force is scheduled to release on October 2 this year.
