Ali Fazal And Richa Chadha Welcome Baby Girl: We Are Tickled Pink

Ali Fazal and Richa Chadha are new parents in B-town as they welcome their first child, a daughter. The couple shared a joint statement, where they revealed that their baby girl was born on July 16, as per IANS. In February, Richa and Ali announced on social media that they were expecting their first child. Their Instagram announcement read, “1+1=3,” and was captioned, “A tiny heartbeat is the loudest sound in our world.”

Announcing the arrival of their baby girl, the couple in their statement said, “We are tickled pink with joy to announce the arrival of a healthy baby girl on 16.07.24! Our families are overjoyed, and we thank our well-wishers for their love and blessings! Love, Richa Chadha and Ali Fazal." This comes a day after Richa dropped her maternity shoot photos, showing off her baby bump. She shared a series of monochrome photos and penned a hearfelt note that reads, “What can a love so pure bring forth into the world, but a beam of light? Thank you for being my partner on this incredible journey @alifazal9 , through this lifetime and many more, through starlights and galaxies… thank you for getting genius @ridburman to shoot us in our natural habitat @gulati.kanika. May we bring forth a warrior of light, a child of compassion, empathy, healing and above all love. Ameen!” Towards the end of the note, she revealed why she had turned off her comment section as it was the “most private” thing she had posted.

When Richa Chadha opened up about her maternity phase

Earlier, on July 14th, the Heeramandi actress shared a post on Instagram, expressing her anticipation for the arrival of their baby. She mentioned feeling discomfort at times but emphasised she never felt isolated. Richa further shared a sense of being heard, always sensing a presence and listening in.

Richa and Ali first met on the sets of Fukrey in 2013 and decided to get married in 2020 during the pandemic. The couple got married through the Special Marriage Act and later celebrated their union in 2022.
