Photos of the Pari actress from the event quickly went viral as she arrived alone, without her husband, cricketer Virat Kohli, and their children, Vamika and Akaay.

Speaking to the media at the occasion, Anushka Sharma shared insights into her personal life. The actress revealed that she and Virat personally prepare meals for their children. She explained that they aim to pass on their mother’s recipes to the next generation, referring to it as a ‘little cheat.' For the unversed, the actor and cricketer are parents to a daughter Vamika and a 7-month-old son Akaay.

Anushka Sharma spoke about the importance of passing down family recipes to the next generation. "We must cook our moms' dishes at home, or we'll lose these treasured recipes," she said at the event. To achieve this, Anushka and her husband take turns cooking, attempting to recreate their mothers' signature dishes. She confesses to seeking her mom's help, admitting "I cheat a little by calling her for recipes." Anushka believes preserving family traditions is vital, likening it to "passing on something valuable" to her children.

She further explained how she manages the kids' routine, despite her family's frequent travels owing to Virat's schedule as a member of the Indian ticket team. She shared, "I'm very particular about establishing a daily routine. It provides my kids with a sense of control amidst constant change." To maintain stability, Anushka ensures mealtimes and bedtimes remain consistent, regardless of their location. "This helps them regulate themselves better," she adds, highlighting the importance of structure in her children's lives.

Anushka Sharma further shared her take on parenthood, saying, "There's immense pressure to be the perfect parent, but we're not perfect." She expressed the importance of acknowledging and admitting mistakes to children, adding, "Owning up to our flaws makes it easier for them." The Sultan actress wants her kids to know that nobody is flawless and that it's okay to make mistakes.

When asked about the changes she experienced after having kids. She reveals, "I can only socialise with fellow parents, and that's a tiny circle." Invitations to dinner parties often leave her perplexed, as she jokes, "You're probably having a snack when we're having dinner" Anushka laughs, saying, "Sometimes, you just have to let go, or people will start avoiding you!" She acknowledges that parenthood has forced her to reevaluate her social priorities.
