Deepika Padukone-Ranveer Singh Blessed With Baby Girl On Ganesh Chaturthi: Reports

Deepika-Ranveer Baby: The celebrity couple has reportedly embraced parenthood for the first time. The couple, who was snapped at the HN Reliance hospital in Mumbai, welcomed a baby girl today, September 8. An announcement from the new parents is expected to follow soon.

Paparazzo Viral Bhayani took to his Instagram handle and captioned the post, “Congratulations DeepVeer. Blessed with a baby girl on the next day of Ganesh Chaturthi .” The actress has reportedly given birth to a healthy baby and this marks a new chapter in the couple's lives. The couple welcomed their first child after 6 years of marriage. 

Soon after Viral dropped the post, Deepika and Ranveer's fans flooded the comment section. A user wrote, “Congratulations ghar me Laxmi aayi hai”. Another fan wrote, “Junior Deepika.” Another wrote, “Congratulations for baby girl..MashaAllah.” Another wrote, “Are wah...many many congratulations”.

Prior to her delivery, on Friday, the actress, her husband and their families paid a visit to the Siddhivinayak Temple in Mumbai. With Ganeshotsav starting from Saturday, the families perfectly timed the delivery to welcome the baby on the auspicious day.

When Deepika Padukone announced her pregnancy 

On February 29, Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone confirmed that they are all set to welcome their first bundle of joy in September. The actors took to their respective Instagram, where they made the announcement. They shared an e-card, which had balloons, baby onesies, lollipops and booties made on it with pastel colours.

The card had “September 2024. Deepika and Ranveer” written on it. For the caption they chose, two folded hands and evil eye emoticons. Ranveer and Deepika have together worked in films such as Goliyon Ki Raas-Leela: Ram Leela, Bajirao Mastani and Padmavaat. It was in 2018 when the two got married in an intimate ceremony in Italy's Lake Como.
