Hindi Box Office: Kalki Reigns Supreme Over Kill, Sarfira, Hindustani 2 - Crosses ₹250 Crore Mark

Kalki 2898 AD hit the big screens on June 27 and has grossed well over ₹1000 crore at the global box office. Running in its third weekend now, the pan-India film starring Prabhas, Deepika Padukone and Amitabh Bachchan among others, will cross ₹250 crore mark in Hindi on Sunday. The Nag Ashwin directorial has not only performed well in multiplexes and Tier I cities but in heartland areas as well.

It has collected more than new releases Sarfira, starring Akshay Kumar and Hindustani 2, lead by Kamal Haasan.

How is Kill performing at the box office?

Lakshya and Raghav Juyal starrer action thriller Kill has managed to find its audience. In its second weekend now, it has managed to collect close to ₹14 crore in India, with Sunday collections till to come in. Talking about its biz, trade analyst Taran Adarsh wrote, "#Kill is rock-steady, withstands the two new arrivals [#Sarfira and #Hindustani2] + #Kalki2898AD wave + reduction in screens and shows on [second] Sat [+78.75%]... Despite so many stumbling blocks, #Kill grabs a good chunk of marketshare in Weekend 2. [Week 2] Fri 80 lacs, Sat 1.43 cr. Total: ₹ 13.59 cr (sic)."

Kalki 2898 AD draws the most audience

In 17 days, Kalki 2898 AD has minted ₹245 crore plus in Hindi language alone. On its third Saturday, it collected more than Sarfira and Hindustani 2 combined. The two new titles are on their respective second days. 

Posting about its collections, Taran Adarsh wrote, "#Kalki2898AD is a ONE-HORSE RACE...
