Janhvi Kapoor Discharged From Hospital After Suffering From Food Poisoning: Report

Janhvi Kapoor complained of health issues on Tuesday, but her food poisoning aggravated on Thursday following which she was rushed to the hospital.

Janhvi Kapoor, who is gearing up for the release of her upcoming spy thriller Ulajh, suffered from food poisoning. The actress was hospitalised in South Mumbai after her health condition deteriorated on Thursday. Now, after a close observation, Janhvi was discharged from the hospital on Saturday, as per a report in IANS.

According to a report in IANS, Janhvi has recovered although a little weakness is still there. Her father Boney Kapoor, sister Khushi Kapoor and rumoured boyfriend Shikhar Pahariya are by her side helping her recuperate. On Tuesday, she returned to Mumbai from Chennai and complained of health problems. She cancelled all her appointments for Wednesday to take a rest and recuperate. However, her food poisoning aggravated on Thursday following which she was rushed to the hospital.

Of late, the actress has been keeping quite busy following her recent release Mr & Mrs Mahi, co-starring Rajkummar Rao. She is awaiting her upcoming release Ulajh in which she plays the role of a diplomat. The movie co-stars Gulshan Devaiah and Roshan Mathew.

What else do we know about Ulajh?

Helmed by Sudhanshu Saria, a few days ago, the makers unveiled the trailer of the movie, offering a glimpse of Jnahvi's character fighting to prove her innocence after being accused of being a traitor. The plot focuses on a young IFS officer with a legacy of patriots in her family, entangled in a dangerous personal conspiracy amidst a career-defining post far away from her home. The trailer hints that she falls prey to Gulshan's evil plans.  The movie also stars Adil Hussain, Meiyang Chang and Rajesh Tailang in the key roles. The movie is set to hit the theatres on August 2.

Apart from Ulajh, she also has Devara: Part 1 in the pipeline. The film marks her Telugu debut and stars her alongside Jr NTR and Saif Ali Khan. Directed by Koratala Siva, the film is set to release on September 27.
