Janhvi Kapoor, who has recently kick-started the first leg of promotions of her Ulajh, has reportedly been hospitalised in Mumbai due to "severe case of food poisoning". She is reportedly expected to remain under the medical supervision of experts for the next couple of days till she fully recovers.
Janhvi Kapoor postpones her work commitments
Reportedly, Janhvi Kapoor was feeling under the weather for the last couple of days. As a result, she postponed all her work commitments and decided to rest at home. However, her condition worsened and the family members decided to check her into a hospital, where she was currently recovering. As she recuperates, Janhvi has postponed all her promotional activities for Ulajh and other work. She is completely at bed rest as she looks to recover soon ahead of the film's release
What is Ulajh about?
Janhvi Kapoor plays a young diplomat caught in the web of spying in Ulajh. "This film is particularly special to me as I portray a very challenging role of a diplomat for the first time. It has been a humbling and fascinating experience. Working with Sudhanshu Saria has been incredibly enriching; he made me push my own boundaries," Janhvi said in a statement.
The film, Janhvi's next after Mr & Mrs Mahi co-starring Rajkummar Rao, will hit the big screens on August 2.
