Ye log jo he bilkul zeherile, envious hain: Kangana Ranaut

Kangana praised her co-stars Anupam Kher and Shreyas Talpade for their humility and willingness to support the project. She said that if you call them nicely, they will come. There's never a "No" with them. However, other celebs are "absolutely venomous and envious," according to Kangana.

She jibed at the rest of the Bollywood celebs, saying, "Ye log jo he bilkul zeherile, envious hain. Lekin ye logo ko dekhiye aap. Kaise chhup ke baithe hue he ki Emergency ayi hui he ab hum kuch bolenge nahi (But look at these people. How they are hiding, refusing to say anything now that Emergency is coming)."

She added that these celebs think that just going to the gym is hard work but in a true sense work is your character "how you exercise your integrity, strength, and emotions". The actress further mentioned that she never fails to praise her peers. "Maine aaj aisi koi bhi film aisi nhi he jiski maine tareef nahi ki jo kabiliye tareef ho. Woj chahe kisi ki bhi ho," she concluded.

SGPC seeks ban on Emergency trailer, demands apology for hurting religious sentiments

Since the trailer released, the Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee (SGPC) has been protesting against the movie over its portrayal of the Sikh community.  The religious body has now sought the film's trailer to be taken down and the makers to issue a public apology. In the legal notice sent to the producers of the film Emergency, the apex religious body of the Sikhs claims misrepresents the character and history of Sikhs. The body has asked the makers to remove the trailer released on August 14, from public and social media platforms and submit a written apology to the Sikh community.
