In an interview, Gulshan admitted that he and Janhvi didn't connect personally. "We don’t really vibe that way. We’re not sitting and chatting. We don’t vibe at all, actually," he said. On hearing this, Janhvi laughed and replied, "This is the funniest thing you’ve said.” However, despite that Gulshan felt that it didn't impact their performance and their collaboration didn't feel incomplete or lacking.
