Shraddha Kapoor's Stree 2 Certain To Become ₹600 Crore Grosser - Week Wise Box Office Collection

With Cinema Day falling on September 20, Stree 2 will benefit more at the box office. The horror comedy stars Shraddha Kapoor and Rajkummar Rao.

Stree 2 Box Office: The Shraddha Kapoor and Rajkummar Rao starrer horror comedy is showing no signs of slowing down even after entering its fifth weekend. The collection of the movie has been remarkable with each day adding more records to its name. As the film wound up its 5th weekend and headed into the week, its business its India stands at a staggering ₹583.35. Trade analyst Taran Adarsh noted that the movie will certainly enter the ₹600 crore club in the coming days.

Stree 2 box office shows no signs of slowing down

Sharing the collections of Stree 2, Taran Adarsh noted, "#Stree2 remains at [fifth] Friday levels, though the business saw an upswing that day, thanks to the #BOGO free ticket offer. The rock-steady Monday numbers suggest the film is on track to make HISTORY as the first #Hindi film to surpass the ₹ 600 cr mark. [Week 5] Fri 3.60 cr, Sat 5.55 cr, Sun 6.85 cr, Mon 3.17 cr. Total: ₹ 583.35 (sic)."

According to a report in Box Office India, for Stree 2, surpassing Jawan (Hindi) total is a simple task now and even if there was no Cinema Day (September 20), the film would be cruising past it. Stree 2 has also crossed the business of Gadar 2 - The Katha Continues in Delhi / UP this weekend.  

Stree 2 week-wise box office breakdown

According to Box Office India, the film collected ₹293.21 crore in its first week, ₹140 crore in week 2, ₹65.72 crore in the third and ₹33 crore plus in its fourth week. Despite new and re-releases, Stree 2 has remained the top choice for the moviegoers. Kareena Kapoor's The Buckingham Murders could not pull in much audience and is struggling at ₹6 crore nett collection in India in four days.

Meanwhile, Sohum Shah's Tumbbad managed to draw in the audience. It has collected closer to ₹10 crore in four days since its re-release on September 13.
