Throwback: Aishwarya Rai Poses Happily With Bachchan Family At Deepika-Ranveer’s Reception

The Bachchan family has come under the scanner of social media users for an alleged feud among them. The clan’s distant appearance at the wedding functions of Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant raised eyebrows. For the wedding ceremony on July 12, the Bachchan family including Big B, Jaya, Abhishek and Shweta Bachchan posed for the shutterbugs together. Aishwarya and Aaradhya entered the venue minutes later and posed separately fuelling reports of a feud in the family. A similar incident repeated on the following day - the reception of newlyweds. Amid this, an old video of the clan striking a picture-perfect pose is going viral on social media. 

When the Bachchan family struck a picture-perfect pose 

In 2018, the family arrived together to attend the wedding reception of Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh. The video of the family posing together has now made its way on social media. In the visuals, Aishwarya could be seen happily posing with her husband Abhishek Bachchan and her in-laws. 

In December 2018 2018, Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone hosted a grand reception for the members of the film industry. The party was attended by Bachchans together. In the video Amitabh Bachchan, actor-wife Jaya Bachchan, daughter Shweta Bachchan, along with daughter-in-law and actor Aishwarya Rai posed together. The former Miss World could be seen giggling and chatting up with her sister-in-law in front of the shutterbugs.

Is there a rift in the Bachchan family? 

Aishwarya Rai Bachchan arriving without the Bachchan family at the Ambanis event for two days in a row now has raised suspicions about a feud in the family. Previosuly the actor's social media activity, solo trips and skipping joint appearances with her husband had ignited the rumours of trouble in paradise for the couple. However, fans of the couple have time and again argued that the actors prefer to lead a private life and keep their personal matters away from the public eye.

Amid the rumours of a rift in the family, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and her daughter Aaradhya walked the red carpet at the red carpet of Anant Ambani's wedding on July 12 alone. Their arrival came moments after the rest of the Bachchan family including Big B, Shweta Bachchan, Abhishek and Jaya Bachchan posed together. A repeat of the same took place on July 13, when Amitabh Bachchan posed with his son-in-law Nikhil Nanda along with his grandchildren Navya Nanda.
