Abdu Rozik Calls Off His Wedding To Amira After 5 Months Of Engagement Due To THIS Reason

Abdu Rozik, who rose to fame with Bigg Boss 16, left his fans elated when he announced his engagement with Amira in April this year. Abdu had shared that he would be getting married in July but later said he was postponing his wedding plans. Now, according to multiple media reports, Abdu has called off his wedding with his fiancee.

Why has Abdu Rozik called off his wedding?

Abdu cited "cultural differences" as the reason behind his cancelled wedding. The 20-year-old shared that as their relationship progressed, the couple started facing differences. He needed a "mentally strong partner" who could match up to him as he is "recognised as a person of determination". He insisted that calling off his wedding was a difficult decision for him. The Tajikistan singer concluded by saying that he hopes to find love again.

Abdu and Amira got engaged in Sharjah, UAE on April 24 this year. He had shared several photos from the ceremony but didn't reveal the face of his fiancee. The intimate ceremony was attended by his family and close friends.

Taking to his Instagram handle, Abdu in May dropped a set of two photos from the engagement ceremony. He captioned the dreamy photos by writing, "Alhamdulillah (heart emoticon)  24.04.2024 (ring emoticon).

A day before sharing the photos from his engagement, he shared a video expressing his happiness in finding his soulmate. He showed the engagement ring to his fans and wrote, "I never imagined in my life that I will be so lucky to find a love who respects me and is not burdened by the obstacles in my life 7th of July save the date !! (ring emoticon) I cannot express to you in words how happy I am."
