Hollywood star Nicole Kidman addressed the sudden passing away of her Janelle Ann Kidman. The actress' mother breathed her last at the age of 84 on September 8. The Babygirl actress had left the Venice Film Festival early due to the family emergency. Now, Nicole Kidman has shared a heartfelt note and photo of her mother on Instagram, thanking fans and the media for respecting her family's privacy during this difficult time.

On September 12, the Perfect Couple actress shared a heartfelt message on Instagram, accompanied by three photos. In the post she wrote, “My sister, family, and I want to express our gratitude for the overwhelming love and kindness we've received this week.”  She concluded by writing, “Every message from those who loved and admired our mother has touched us more deeply than words can convey. Thank you to everyone for respecting our privacy as we support each other.”

The A Family Affair star posted a carousel of three images of her mother. The first was a solo portrait of a young Janelle, followed by two family photos featuring both her and her sister, Antonia Kidman. After sharing the tribute, her fellow celebrities filled the comments with their condolences. Nicole Kidman announced her mother's passing last weekend through a statement read by her Babygirl director, Halina Reijn, at the Venice Film Festival, as she was unable to attend to accept an award for her performance.
