Marvel Entertainment announced the tracklist for Deadpool & Wolverine on Wednesday, revealing a long-awaited addition by Stray Kids.
The soundtrack will feature a new song by the eight-member K-pop group Stray Kids, titled Slash. This electrifying collaboration has been in the making for several years, and fans are final. The eight-member group's high-energy track is set to bring an extra layer of adrenaline to the soundtrack, blending their signature sound with the irreverent spirit of Deadpool and Wolverine.
Stray Kids’ Felix did a performance dressed as Reynolds’ character
In 2021, Stray Kids competed in the Korean music reality show Kingdom: Legendary War and secured first place. During the show’s eighth episode, the group delivered a lively mashup of their hit God’s Menu and Blackpink’s DDU-DU DDU-DU. In a nod to Deadpool, Stray Kids member Felix began the performance dressed as Reynolds’ character, delivering a playful opening monologue inspired by the film.
Two weeks back, Reynolds shared a video on social media featuring both Felix and Bang Chan while promoting Deadpool & Wolverine with Hugh Jackman in South Korea. In the video, Reynolds joined the “passing the phone to” trend, saying, “I’m gonna pass my phone here to my favourite Australian,” before pausing at Jackman and finally passing it to Felix and Bang Chan, who are also from Australia. He captioned the post, “As they say in Seoul: Chk Chk Boom,” referencing the lead single from Stray Kids’ upcoming EP ATE.
