Malayalam music composer Sushin Shyam, known for his distinct soundscapes, has officially submitted his works from the films Aavesham and Manjummel Boys for consideration at the prestigious Grammy Awards. The musician's announcement on social media has stirred excitement among fans and industry insiders alike.

Manjummel Boys summited for Grammy consideration

On October 5, Sushin Shyam announced on Instagram that he had submitted his work from two films for consideration in different Grammy categories. The soundtrack for Aavesham, starring Fahadh Faasil, was entered in the Best Compilation Soundtrack for Visual Media category, while the score for Manjummel Boys, featuring Soubin Shahir, was submitted for the Best Score Soundtrack for Visual Media category.

The Grammy 2025 nominations will be revealed on Friday, November 8 with the result of the suggested consideration. The 67th Annual Grammy Awards is set for Sunday, February 2, 2025, in Los Angeles.

Manjummel Boys is the soundtrack for the 2024 film directed by Chidambaram S. Poduval and produced by Babu Shahir, Soubin Shahir, and Shawn Antony under Parava Films.

Recently, Manjummel Boys was awarded the Best Music award at the KinoBravo International Film Festival held in Russia. This prestigious honour went to the composer Sushin Shyam for his enchanting score.

As per reports, Director Chidambaram S Poduval accepted the award on behalf of the entire film team, showcasing their dedication and effort in creating this meaningful project. During media interaction, he shared that the Russian audience was moved to tears during the screening, with many attendees embracing and congratulating him afterwards.
