Emmy Awards 2024: Television's biggest night is upon us. The 76th Emmy Wards will air in India on September 16, 5.30 am on Lionsgate Play. On stage will be a family affair as Schitt's Creek stars Eugene Levy and Dan Levy will turn hosts, making them the first father-son duo to lead the ceremony. With the clock ticking to crown the winners, here's a list of shows vying for the Emmy in the Best Drama Series category and where you can watch them online in India.

Shogun

Shogun is arriving at the awards night with maximum nominations- 25. With its 14 wins at the precursor Creative Arts Emmy Awards last weekend, the FX series set in the feudal Japan era has already set a record for most Emmys for a single season of a series. It is set to add to its count come Monday.

The Crown 6

If Shogun faces any competition at all for the best drama prize, it could come for the sixth and final season of The Crown, the only show among the nominees that has won before in the category. The regency set drama follows the story of Princess Diana and her accidental death in a car crash. The role is essayed by Elizabeth Debicki.

The Gilded Age

The American Gilded Age was a period of immense economic change, great conflict between the old ways and brand new systems, and huge fortunes made and lost. The Gilded Age follows a young woman who moves in with her old-money aunts and quickly gets entangled in the social war between them and their new-money neighbors. In a world on the brink of the modern age, will she follow the rules of society or forge her own path?

The Morning Show starring Jennifer Aniston is running in 16 categories at this year's Emmys. The show gives an inside look at the lives of the people who help America wake up in the morning, exploring the unique challenges faced by the team.

Fallout

Fallout is an American post-apocalyptic drama television series created by Graham Wagner and Geneva Robertson-Dworet. It is based on the role-playing video game franchise created by Tim Cain and Leonard Boyarsky. The series stars Ella Purnell, Aaron Moten, Kyle MacLachlan, Moisés Arias, Xelia Mendes-Jones, and Walton Goggins.

Mr and Mrs Smith

A spin-off of Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie starter film of the same name, Mr and Mrs Smith features Maya Erskine and Donald Glover as Jane and John Smith respectively. The two lonely strangers land a job working for a mysterious spy agency that offers them a glorious life of espionage, wealth, world travels and a dream brownstone in Manhattan. Their professional lives take a turn when they fall in love and attract the wrong eyes.
