Vikram Celebrates Thangalaan's Success With Malavika Mohanan, Parvathy; Serves Food In Viral Video

Chiyaan Vikram is basking in the success of his recently released movie Thangalaan which showed him in a never-seen-before avatar. The movie released alongside Keerthy Suresh starrer Raghu Thatha on August 15 and since then has minted ₹44.48 crore at the domestic box office. To mark the success of the action adventure, the cast and crew came together to celebrate the moment. The grand celebration saw actors such as Vikram, Parvathy Thiruvothu and Malavika Mohanan in attendance.

Inside Thangalaan's success bash

The official Instagram page of Studio Greens shared a set of three photos from the celebration, featuring Vikram with the crew. The actor sports heavy beared look in a white shirt and matching lungi. "Celebrating the golden victory of Thangalaan," read the caption.

Parvathy also shared photos on her Instagram handle, offering a glimpse of the bash. The first two photos feature the lead actors in one frame - Vikram, Parvathy and Malavika. It was followed by two goofy images of Parvathy with crew members. "Yesterday was magical! Thank you @the_real_chiyaan for hosting the most sumptuous feast for us Thangalaaners!! It was so good to see everyone again!" read the caption.

What do we know about Thangalaan?

The movie received mixed reviews from the critics, who praised the performance of the lead cast - Vikram, Malavika, Parvathy and Daniel Caltagirone. Set during the British Raj era, a fierce tribal leader sets out to stop an apparent sorceress, after earning her wrath when assisting a British general in tracing gold in their village.

On the 14th day, the movie earned ₹43 lakh at the box office, taking the total to ₹44.48 crore. It had an overall 10.85 per cent Tamil occupancy on Wednesday.
