Filmmaker Lokesh Kanagaraj has been busy shooting for his next directorial Coolie with Rajinikanth. On Wednesday, the internet was taken by storm when a leaked video surfaced on X showing Nagarjuna enacting a scene. The viral leaked video grabbed the attention of the filmmaker, following which he penned an emotional note talking about his efforts going in "vain".

Taking to his X handle, Lokesh shared that he shot for the Nagarjuna's sequence for two months and with the video leaking online, his efforts have been wasted. He requested people to not engage in such practices and spoil the overall experience. “Two months of hard work by many people have gone in vain because of one recording. I humbly request everyone not to engage in such practices, as they spoil the overall experience. Thank you," his note read.

Earlier today a video went viral on X that shows Nagarjuna as Simon enacting a scene, adorning a white heavy coat. A user shared the video and wrote, "#Nagarjuna as SIMON in #coolie 🔥🧨💥 ... heavy coat pota #rolex vibes🙂...there's a reason y loki said he'll retire soon.  His style of making is gonna get saturated among audiences soon 😢🥲 #LokeshKanagaraj #Rajinikanth𓃵 #Suriya #kanguva."

It seems the video has been removed from the X now as it shows an "error" when clicking on the play button.

What else do we know about Coolie?

It is an upcoming action thriller produced by Sun Pictures. Apart from Rajinikanth and Nagarjuna, the movie also stars Soubin Shahir, Shruti Haasan, Sathyaraj and Upendra in the key roles. The film has music composed by Anirudh Ravichander, cinematography handled by Girish Gangadharan and editing by Philomin Raj. It is expected to hit the theatres in 2025.
